How does provider verification work?+

All providers on Kaznova go through a 3-step verification: (1) Identity verification using National ID or passport, (2) Professional credential check for relevant certifications, (3) Background screening. Verified providers receive a "Verified Pro" badge on their profile. The process takes 1–3 business days.

How does the escrow payment system work?+

When you book a service, your payment is held securely in escrow by Kaznova. The funds are only released to the provider after you confirm the service was completed satisfactorily. If there's a dispute, the funds remain held until our support team resolves the issue. This protects both customers and providers.

How do I cancel a booking?+

You can cancel a booking from your dashboard under "My Bookings". Cancellations made 24+ hours before the service receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours receive a 50% refund. If the provider cancels, you receive a full refund plus a TZS 5,000 credit.

How do providers get paid?+

Providers receive payment within 24 hours of service completion confirmation. Payments are sent via M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money, or bank transfer — whichever the provider has set up in their dashboard. Kaznova does not deduct commission from individual bookings; providers pay a flat monthly subscription fee instead.

What subscription plans are available for providers?+

Kaznova offers three plans: Basic (TZS 15,000/month — up to 10 bookings, 1 category), Professional (TZS 45,000/month — unlimited bookings, 3 categories, priority search ranking), and Business (TZS 120,000/month — unlimited everything, featured placement, team members, dedicated account manager). All plans include a 30-day free trial.

Can I use Kaznova without creating an account?+

You can browse providers and search for services without an account. However, to book a service or message a provider, you'll need to create a free account. Registration takes less than 2 minutes using email, phone number, or Google.

What payment methods are accepted?+

Kaznova accepts M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money, Visa, and Mastercard. For provider subscriptions, you can also pay via bank transfer. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.

What if I'm not satisfied with the service?+

If you're not satisfied, do not confirm service completion. Raise a dispute within 48 hours from your dashboard. Our support team will review evidence from both parties and issue a resolution within 7 business days. If the service was genuinely not delivered, you'll receive a full refund.

Is Kaznova available outside Dar es Salaam?+

Yes! Kaznova is available across Tanzania including Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Mwanza, Zanzibar, Dodoma, Moshi, and other cities. Provider availability varies by location. We're expanding coverage continuously.

How do I become a verified provider?+

Sign up as a provider, complete your profile, and submit your verification documents (National ID + relevant professional certificates) through your dashboard. Our KYC team reviews applications within 1–3 business days. Once verified, you'll receive the "Verified Pro" badge and priority search placement.
